one of the main problems in the world today is prejudice. this can be things other than just racism, it can be against:
race
gender
ethnics
sexuality
age
religion
where your from
your appereance

there are many examples i could give to prove my point but i will use the presidential race. each of the top three contenders (being Obamah, Clinton, and McCain) are all be pre judged by americans. Obamah is black and young, racism and ageism. Clinton is a women, sexism. and McCain is really old, ageism. During debates Clinton is asked harder questions, some believe, because she is a women. Obamah has used his race to his advantage as well as his age to get black and young people to vote for him but many believe he can't win because he is black. McCain, many people believe, will die before he can finish one term. so as you can see prejudice is everywhere.

I don't think there is a person in this world that is not prejudiced against someone. Everybody looks for something bad in people so they can lay the blame on them or make themselves seem superior to them. I think it is just human nature, find something in different in another person that makes them a worse person than you. We may not like it but that's the way we are.

As Jared stated, it's only human nature to have prejudice. We all have a prejudice that we may not even know that we have.

I admit that I fall under the category of pre-judgement by the way somebody looks at times. I don't do this a whoel lot at all, but if somebody looks like they're snobby, mean, or something related, I'll put my guard up immediately until then prove themselves. I don't like it, I know it's wrong, but it's just something that's in me because I have a third eye for figuring people out upon first impressions that are always dead on. It's not like I'm mean to them though, I just won't talk to them until I find something in common with them to break the ice.
