Making friends..?

Not really sure where to post this as I feel all over the place atm.

I had my first day at a new school today and it was awful. This school is an all girls church of England school. I'm not religious at all and generally make friends better with guys than girls so I knew it might be weird, but I thought i would do my best.

The girls are all really clicky and the few that I tried to talk to either ignored me or replies with a couple of words then left. I spent the day completely alone.

I heard people whisperin stuff about me in my english class today and it makes me so mad coz they dont even know me.

I dont know what to do? how can i try and find someone to make friends with? it seems totally useless.

You should definitly keep trying to make friends, they will come in time, I'm sure of it. Just don't give up, it will all work out in time.

I am sorry you had that experience, it might take a little time to settle in and even get to know people first before you can start to make some friends. But you can even start a little bit of looking and listening sort out a few that you think are possible friends and those you would just have as class mates. what hoobies or interests you have see if anyone share that.

But first days at a new school are not easy you have to start somewhere make a good start on your school work and be open to how some approach you.

School sucks in terms of most peoples attitudes..

If its click based find whatever click likes whatever you like/do as a hobby

But obviously try to make friends with anyone you can, you can't really do anything about mean people or their talk so ignore them.
