I've just picked up the latest issue of Kerrang! and I saw this funny lil tidbit...
CHINEESE DEMOCRACY GETS CANNED
In a bid to get Axl Rose to release G&R's long awaited new album Chineese Democracy, Dr. Pepper have promised everyone in the US and UK a free can of their fizzy drink if it hits the shelves this year. "It took a little patience (IRONY!!) to perfect Dr. Peppers unique blend of 23 different ingredients......We understand and emphasise with Axl's quest for perfection, so we are gonna refer to is as Dr Pepper for the ears" says Jackie Alt, director of marketing for Dr Pepper.
Not in the real world however, but still don't worry Axl, Tupac has released eight albums since his death in 1996.
A free can of Dr pepper? Lets hope all guns and roses fans can get a new album and a free can of Dr pepper this year.
I certaintly hope that Axl gets off his arse and does something.
[EDIT!!!] Maybe Coca Cola should jump on the bandwagon and do a similar thing with shinedown
