curious - who funds this site? Government? Private benefactor? It can't make a profit as it has no adverts etc

That is a good question I honestly never thought of. I guess we just get used to web forums.

I'm pretty sure its either the administrators, or former administrator/site owner Maverick

The government does not own VT, as it is not a .gov website :P

he'll give it to me ofc
I always thought running a forum without ad revenue would be pretty expensive in bandwidth fees and shit.

Mike is not the first nor will he be the last. VT won't go anywhere.

Well if he does get tired or becomes too busy, you shouldn't worry. I'm sure he might for awhile still pay for the site, which is an amazing thing he has done for us and he deserves our respect.
Also if he end paying for the site, someone else might probably pay, being another admin, ECT.
Like Zach said. Vt, ain't going nowhere

I have always wondered about how the site stays up. I just wonder how ImCoolBeans keeps up with the payments? This is a pretty large site.
