Do you believe in Dinosaurs?

I was just wondering what people thought.

I do think they were real and ruled the Earth for 140 million years or so.

Dinosaurs died out about 65 million years ago maybe even more than that (correct me if I'm inaccurate). Fossils of dinosaurs have been found all over the world, and their bones are displayed in museums for all to see. Fossil evidence suggests that modern humans evolved in East Africa around 200,000 years ago, since fossils more than 150,000 years old are known from Ethiopia and Kenya. I'm sure there's a lot of crucial information of dinosaurs out there that we haven't yet explored/discovered, but we do know that dinosaurs lived way before we (modern humans) came along.

But I guess the point is, how can we prove this? There's the law of superposition.

There's radiocarbon dating and other similar tests. These mark the time of fossils.

(Honestly, I was lazy to read the entire story in the link you posted, but there's my take on this topic)

Again, something that made me laugh. This is so similar to another thread I saw here about a Christian fanatic who didn't believe in the happening of evolution. I'm not buying into any of this, because the evidence is there. Go to a museum, ask a palaeontologist, look up images. I'm not going to bother either to cite from a source but there are pictures and there is evidence.

even the majority of Christians accept that dinosaurs were real creatures created by God. of course in the context of young Earth creationism this ends up giving us the silly picture of dinosaur rodeos and man vs. Triceratops arena battles, but that's still less silly than postulating that dinosaurs weren't real at all and that all alleged dinosaur bones are forgeries.

Just because she says something does not mean that it is correct, what she is saying seems plausible, yet she doesn't back up what she is saying, because it is incorrect. I was merely saying that I thought that pretty much everybody accepted the fact that dinosaurs are real. She proved me wrong that not everybody believes i dinosaurs. I wasn't saying that I don't believe in dinosaurs anymore, I was saying that now I know there are people that don't believe in dinosaurs.

wouldnt it be interesting to hear her talk about how paleontologists carved the inner structures of the bone? because bones are filled with sponge looking stuff made of bone, those as well get replaced by calcium and such, but not the holes inside them. this is even dumber than the moon landing conspiracy theories
