GIRLS - Shaving Pubes ??

I want to ask other girls when you started shaving your pubes if you do when like what age did you start? and how much hair had you? my hair is mostly growing down along the lips and very little at the top like above the slit but i want rid of it.

Everybody's different. When I was about 14 I think I tried to shave, didn't like it. Spoke to mum about it, and waited until I was 16. I don't shave now; I wax.

I'm always too afraid the razor will catch something as I'm clumsy, so I avoid them.

I started shaving when I was 14 or 15, and at that point I had a ton of hair and just got sick of it all. If you want to get rid of your pubic hair, shaving can be a good way to do it. Especially since you say you don't have much hair yet, it'll be easy to do. If you already shave your legs, shaving your pubes won't be much different. Just be sure to always use shaving cream and water, just like with your legs, and use a different razor. I say this because the pubic area is way more sensitive, and your razor will need to be sharper to avoid irritation. Change out your pubic razor after every 3 or 4 shaves. In your case, you could probably change it after every 6 or 7 shaves, since you're not dealing with as much hair. Be sure to use some lotion afterwards too, to help with any irritation. Your first time is likely to be kind of itchy afterwards, but that'll get better as your skin gets used to it. It sounds like a lot of work, I know, but it's what you have to go through for beauty. xP

Thanks for the reply, waxing there sounds painful and also dont you have to let it grow out more before you can wax it again than you would with shaving it?

Thanks for the reply, it was very helpful :-) i will do it the way you say. I dont shave my legs yet but will have to soon i think, but my friend does shave her legs and says its easy she is the same age and she is going to shave her pubes the same time as me, she has loads of hair all over her pubes and she was told to trim it down short before she shaves it. x
