Sup. My name is Josh and I'm looking for a friend that wants to build strength or muscle together. We can motivate each together and discuss about our progress. :D

That's a cool idea! How long have you been doing it?

I've started at 13 but i wasn't serious bout it. It wasn't until about 3-5 months ago where i got serious bout it. I started out, when i first got serious bout it, working on both strength and size (muscle mass) but now i'm focusing on purely strength (i'm using stronglifts 5x5). :D

I can't private message so yeah... Anyways, I have couple of questions. what were ur results with stronglifts? How long were u doing the program? I really want abs and my bodyfat is pretty low (about 12 to 13 percent). Should I add direct ab work with stronglifts? if so, what should i do? thanks man :D

Out of curiosity, how are you certain of your bodyfat percentage? A lot of guys are inclined to over estimate. If I were you I'd maybe try to ease back a few pounds depending upon your conditioning. Do you play sports and stuff?

The problem with lots of guys is that their ab muscles are actually pretty small so you have to be pretty low body fat to see them.

Read the stronglifts stuff bro it explains everything abs, etc.

It worked pretty much exactly as described. Got my bench close to body weight had to reset and then it ramped back up. Squats went straight progression for a long time. You'll know when it stops working man.

Any other questions? LOL

For what it's worth I am (attempting) to get back into my running because after the XC season ended I've stopped training but now I'm trying to get back in to it.

I'm going to assume XC=cross country. Do everything that stronglifts says, accept the amount of reps. Since your a cross country runner the extra muscle will slow you down, however being shredded will help you.
