jeans cutoffs?

anyone else, guys or girls, like jeans cutoffs? i mean the ones you make yourself from old jeans. a year ago i saw some in stores and thought they were going to be in fashion but now I don't know. i saw pictures that showed they were popular decades ago. But i still like them. Do you think they look nerdy or cool?

I made my own because the holes in the knees get so bad that one pant leg falls to the ankle. Then just cut off the few threads holding the other side on. I never understood designer ripped jeans.

That's usually where a lot of my summer shorts come from!
Old jeans that I cut off and make shorts out of! It took me a few years to realize not to cut them back too far or the pockets show, which to me looks really tacky, so I cut them back to about mid thigh length! It's really good for swimsuit cover ups, at least the bottom part of the swimsuit!
