It's probably a mixture of both. I certainly don't believe the majority of those threads, but that's not to say they're all lies. Most of them probably are, but with anything, there's probably shreds of truth to some of the posts.

Or they just lie because we won't, and in most cases can't, find out who they are. This gives them the power to say things they most likely wouldn't in real life.

Possibly in some cases. But incest I believe is more common then it's sometimes thought to be. (Wither it is consensual or sadly forced-which is Abuse!!). More people I think would talk about it and admit to their own experiences here online and places like VT because they have a sense of privacy and staying anonymous from "real people". I personally do not have a problem with 2 cousins or 2 siblings experimenting and doing stuff (been there, done it) together as long as its completely consensual between them and in no way forced or pressured, because then it becomes abuse!!! And as long as no pregnancy is ever involved. But parent-child or uncle/aunt- niece/nephew or grandparents I am TOTALLY against!!! This is just my opinion and I do not force it on anyone and completely respect people that see otherwise. If people disagree I'm totally cool with it.

I'm not gonna go out on a limb here but I think some do make some things up, not to say it didn't/doesn't happen but some I think tend to make it up. But either way I don't think there's anything wrong with experimentation as long as there is consent and not being forced as suzzysmith2012 said. It's not my type of thing but to each their own, if they are comfortable with experimenting with their sibling/cousin then I guess it's fine.

I'm not on here very much anymore but I felt like chiming in here. My brother and I could easily mess around and stuff and neither one of us would have a problem with it. So, given that fact, I can see others enjoying stuff with siblings. We don't mess around, but that's because we just happen to not feel the desire to (right now anyway, probably never). But I can totally see others doing it, as I have one friend who did stuff with his sister in the woods behind their house many times. Really, even though it may seem icky at first if you begin to question why, rationally, it would be icky and can't come up with an answer, the ickyness goes away, at least it did for me. So, it may not be such a trolling as one might expect.
