Are there any fans of House of Cards? Either the British version or the awesome American version. (Both are great :P)

I gather then you are only on the first season then. You my friend need to at least finish that season. It is the best thing ever. Frank Underwood is basically my role model.

I haven't seen the British show, but I quite like the American version. I'm nearing the end of season 1 and love the story, characters, and Frank's devious plots.

Just wait until season 2, they don't spare a second with deviousness and Frank's ruthless actions.

I'm in the middle of season 3 right now and (no spoilers) I'm really enjoying it. The bump in the budget has definitely paid off in the cinematography and sets for this season as well, which is great to see

It's hard to believe the cinematography could get even better than it was. I love the use of the fourth wall in Franks soliloquies, so now I'm even more excited to see that improve. I'm in the middle of season 2 now, and all I can really say so far is holy fuck. (No spoiler for anyone who hasn't seen it yet) but if you know what I'm talking about that happens in the third episode... just wow.

Just actually started watching this tonight (the first two episodes), and I'm pretty impressed. I'll probably watch it all in the next few weeks.

(I appreciate the no spoiling in this thread :))

Well I just finished the third season, and once again I'll keep this spoiler free.

Unfortunately, I can't say I enjoyed it as much as I did the first two seasons, but I suppose that's to be expected with the change in everyone's roles. At times it kind of felt like the entire season was just a filler episode/storyline for what's to come in the (probably final) season, but I think it could've been executed better. A lot of things were either rushed or dragged on much longer than they should have been - there's much less "ruthless pragmatism" than in the first two season imo, but I can only assume there's some plan to go into the final season. Maybe now with everything in season three "out of the way" some of Frank's prior mannerisms and actions will return....

I've heard good things about it and want to check it out but don't have Netflix. I'll have to try and watch it at a friends house.

I actually finished Season 1 of this quicker than I thought I would (since I usually only watch 1 or 2 episodes of anything at a time), and was pretty psyched up for where it was headed.

Then Episode 1 of Season 2 happened. Just - ......................

I probably won't watch it for a few days now. I understand why it happened, but am just stunned and disappointed.

Kevin spacey is amazing as frank I love house of cards. It's up there with my favourite shows with Game of thrones and Battlestar Gallactica (reboot series of course)

I just finished the second season and I don't like that there is only one more to watch (so far). This show is so good and I don't want it to end.

The most interesting part of that serie is Frank's comments to the audience

Just finished Season 3 of this, and can't wait for it to come back already. I'm a little disappointed that nothing really earth-shattering happens until the final episode (no spoiling) but as a whole the show is really entertaining.

Once again, I understand why they need to do "certain things" but that's twice now. :|

Loved this show. I finished season three about a week after it first was released on Netflix. It's a really great show, but season 3 wasn't nearly as good as seasons 1 and 2 in my opinion.
