Johnny Cash is one of the only reasons I don't go around saying that I hate country music. I despise new country. It's garbage in my opinion. It's all about trucks, girls, tractors, guns, trucks with girls in them, etc. It's like comparing new pop music with a ton of auto-tune to older music with actual meaning outside of going to the club and bj's.
That being said, I love Johnny Cash. A few of my personal favorites are Walk the Line, Folsom Prison Blues, A Boy Named Sue, Ring of Fire, Hurt, the list goes on.
PS: Red Solo Cup by Toby keith is my own thing..... Don't bash me for it... haha

I like him I guess, but the only song of his I listen to regularly is his cover of Hurt by Nine Inch Nails.

Johnny Cash is more of a rock n roll singer or a folk singer than a country singer. If he was a country singer, country music would be much different.

Yeah, I love Johnny Cash music. Although, I am a bit surprised I do living in the UK (I realise it's not just American but you don't hear country much here) and growing up on other types of music. Some of his songs I like: Hurt, When The Man Comes Around and God's Gonna Cut You Down.

I'm not a huge country or western fan, but if I listen to country it will likely be Johnny Cash or Willy Nelson -- so not very often but once in a while.

I don't care too much for him, but I can see why others like his music.

While I don't actually listen to much Johnny Cash, I particularly recommend The Wanderer by U2, which has him on lead vocals instead of Bono. It is simply put, awesome.

I love all of Johnny Cash!! But,Highwayman is my all-time favorite..In my opinion, today's country music is complete rubbish.I can't stand it,there was no rapping or screaming electric guitars in country from the 50's-80's.
