I'd say go for it. It doesn't hurt to try. I think it would look good on you!!!

I think it would look okay but ugh, frosted tips were this terrifying trend in the 90s. Maybe go to a hair stylist and ask them what their opinion is and ask how they would do it. A professional opinion is always best.
Life tip: never bleach your hair at home. I used to do it all the time and my hair is seriously messed up.

Thanks for the responses, and I wasn't planning at doing it at home, that could turn out to be a total disaster, I'd definitely go to a hair dresser.

Well. I mean, I have naturally blonde hair. I first decided to go dark brown when I was 12 like four years ago. I then went to black, back to dark brown, then to red, then purple, then black and then black with purple highlights, then full purple again and then medium brown and then I went bleach blonde which was mainly ginger and then I dyed it dark blonde again. Once you dye your hair, if you're like me, you'll get bored and want to change all the time. :P

Still not certain what to do, perhaps I'll do it in summer? Would my color be back to normal in 2 months?

That depends on how long you want your tips/ends to be blonde. If you're making it blonde almost to your roots, it'll take a bit longer for your natural hair to grow out (that way, if you want to go back to your original color, you can either redye the blonde to something similar to your natural hair or you can chop off the blonde). Unless you're only dying maybe about 1 to 1.5 inches of your ends, I see no problem with that.

My hair's not that long currently annyways, so I suppose that'd be fine then...

You look pretty handsome so as it is man. I'd say keep it. Plus you got kind of a tanner complexion. Not sure if it will look like anything more than old school boy bands LOL

Honestly, I'd leave it as you have it. I never liked when dudes colored their hair.

Hello, I'm wondering whether or not to dye my hair blond, I'm 16, I've got (dark-)brown hair, and I've never dyed my hair before!
(This is me: image (http://i.imgur.com/Qa3EUl2.jpg?1)
hair's more of a quiff currently!)
So, should I do it? I'd like to have it similar to the hair in this picture:

Any and all advice is appreciated!
to be honest, I think you look better in the first pic :)
