So, next month I'll be buying one of today's best flagship smartphones, and was having a bit of trouble deciding. I'm basically looking at the Apple iPhone 6+, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, or the Motorola Nexus 6. They're all fantastic, but each of them have flaws that make it hard for me to decide.

The iPhone has bending issues but that can be sort of solved by just applying a case. The phone isn't exactly cheap, well neither of them are, but with iPhones you're paying more for the status symbol than anything. And like all Apple products, it doesn't have a lot of customization options, other than the keyboard, wallpaper, and where your icons are. On paper the iPhone is also the least powerful, but like most iPhones performs pretty well despite its dual core CPU and 1gb of memory compared to the quad core CPU and 3gb memory of the other two phones. The iPhone is also running IOS 8, which wouldn't take time getting use to, since I'm using a 4s running IOS 8.

The Note 4 is pretty much the best phone spec wise, but it's design is pretty dull and boring. That issue could be solved with a skin or a case or something, but it also doesn't come out of the box with Android 5.0.

And finally, the Nexus 6. I've been leaning more towards the Nexus 6 due to it being the best phone all around with it's good looks and great specs, but there's a few things that worry me. One, the back cover is essentially a plastic sticker held on by some glue, and there's been plenty of reports of the cover popping off whether it be from the glue holding it on or a defective battery. I think possibly the glue could just be melting from the use of the fast charger included with the phone and could just use some other phone charger or even just slap on a case and call it good, out of sight out of mind. The second flaw is the display. The display is great and all, but I've read a few reports about images from the status bar and navigation buttons or even the keyboard being burnt into the Amoled display, which is apparently a common issue that can be fixed by inverting the colors.

So my question is this, if you were to choose between these three phones, which would you choose? Also, any opinions and recommendations for other phones are more than welcome.

And in case you hadn't noticed, yes, I'm into huge phones.

I like Nexus phones because they ship with pure Android and the bootloader can be unlocked without voiding your warranty. the number of custom ROMs available for most of the Nexus line is pretty impressive.

I've had the older Nexus i9250 for a couple years now and the fact that Google released the newer models with built-in batteries (mine is removable) made me glad I picked that one. it still feels like a new phone thanks to the custom ROMs.

as for the newest Nexus, I wasn't planning to upgrade yet but it's disappointing to hear about those issues. then again if they made phones to last they wouldn't be raking in as much dosh (the horror!)
