So i picked up the New 3ds xl today, finally!
Honestly, i love it, the 3ds work great, the machine shows that Nintendo did add a fast processor.
I got the red version, was hoping for the majora's mask one but got repelled since its black inside and felt it would be weird to look at. (Wished it was gold all the way)
Anyways, i shall probably get Monster Hunter 4 unlimited and Zelda Majora's Mask to go along soon, since i'm only breeding on Pokemon :p
I still have to mess around with it still.
So, who also got one? whats your thoughts :)?

I was on a nintendo boycott for the longest. I had gotten a Dsi lite xl thinking that was gonna be the last nintendo handheld for a while then out came the 3ds which just kinda pissed me off lol. So I decided not to buy a 3ds because I had a regular ds and I was happy.
For reasons still unknown, I bought a 2ds the week it came out because it was cheaper and it was in my allowance. Still kinda regret it and get flame from people saying it's not a real 3ds and it was a waste of money.
That's it, they all play the same shit and the same games so this is irrelevant.

When the New 3DS was announced I was interested with all the extra features it was said to have and I was like "I'm totally going to get those faceplates," but then North America was confirmed to only get the XL and I was a bit burned by that I guess.
I got the original 3DS on launch day, then the XL was announced, so I got the Pokemon XY XL hoping that would hold me over, but then the New one came out, and right now I feel like I'm going to skip out on the New 3DS. I'm pretty tired of the platform as it stands right now, so maybe the next true Nintendo handheld I'll pick up, but right now I'm not really feeling it.
Hope you're enjoying it though, OP. My friends sure are enjoying theirs. :P

It would take my 3DS XL totally dying on me to buy one. Mine is only about a year and a half old. Even if my poor ass could afford throwing $200 to get a faster processor and a couple extra buttons only useful for a handful of games I don't plan own, I wouldn't do it. The only thing remotely tempting is the head tracking 3D, but my 3DS is in perfect condition outside of an iffy left trigger and a single surface scratch. I'm a bit pissed though that they have "New 3DS exclusive" games in the works. I'd rather a ninth gen get prematurely pushed than Nintendo pull that bullshit.
