I'm 15 years old and I still didn't get my period yet. My mom got hers when she was 14 almost 15.
I'm a late bloomer I know. My breasts didn't start developing until I was 12 or 13 I think. So right now even 2 years of developing my breasts are still these tiny triangular buds they never grow like ever. I have like 5 pieces of underarm hair under each arm and I have NO pubic hair at all and VERY FEW leg hairs and literally zero arm hair. I have been getting discharge since late August and it happens everyday where I get it so I know my period is on its way but I still don't know when it will come. I haven't had a growth spurt either I grow very slowly I only grew like 1 inch in the past year.
By the way, I'm about 5"1 in height and I weigh like 90 pounds if that helps I'm really tiny I know that I'm short and underweight.
If you're wondering I have no eating disorder I'm just skinny because it is very hard for me to gain weight no matter how much I eat. I can eat a bag of potato chips a day and still stay skinny without excersising and its also super easy for me to lose weight.
So when do you think my period will come? I'm not asking this because I'm scared I actually don't want my period I still have growing to do I don't wanna be a midget my entire life! When is it going to come?

I wouldn't really worry about it for now, some girls develop early and fast, and others late and slow. If people question or make fun of you just tell them to f#ck off.

I got mine not long ago (14) and idk why but I actually wanted it becuase all my friends had! Look you sound a lot like me and I wouldn't be surprised if you get it very soon. I had discharge for around 2 years before my first period. But your already 15 and i think it will come soon don't worry about it if I could go back to no period and no pubic hair I would love that haha

i think it'll come soon, if it doesn't come after 6 months or so, maybe go to the doctors just to check everything is ok?
you're lucky you're not one of those people who got their period at the age of 8; that would totally suck.

Because you still don't really have any hair, it could be a little while. I say it'll probably come within a year or so, and if not, you could mention it to your doctor. You're a late bloomer but you're not that late, so don't stress out over it too much. Your body is just taking its time, and believe me, when you do get your period, you'll be glad you didn't have it for so long. It really is miserable.

I got my first one in 7th grade, while my mom didn't get hers until her senior year of high school (so thankful I didn't get mine that late). She was ~5'9 and only 112 or so lbs, so she was underweight for her height and also anemic which might have to do with her late blooming.
It could come any day now, I didn't feel it the first time but rather saw it and was like "Dammit, does this mean I have to wear tampons?". But after you've had it for a while you can feel when they're coming. May be different experience for some people though.

You sound like a really late bloomer, so probably when you are 16. My breasts actually started after I had my period at 12.

It may take a few months probably. I had mine at 11 and a friend got it at 14 for example. It varies.

if your very athletic like gymnastics or something as intense and/or have very low body fat, then that in of itself could put things off. IN fact, many high level gymnasts don't get it until 15/16 ish. Its not really a problem because eventually normal growth and development catch up too you.

At 14 I am still in the early stages of Puberty it only started around my 12th birthday, I still have not had a period yet just spotting. My mum and aunt(her sis) were also late bloomers, it's likely to run in families.
What about your mum, aunt's etc were they late also?

I got mine kind of late, and according to my school nurse it was because i had the same "problem" as you, being really skinny, and almost underweight. My BMI back then was at about 16. Now i'm about 17. Not to sound creepy but, i calculated your BMI according to the measures you wrote in your post, and it's about 17 too. I can't really find anything on the internet that confirms what my school nurse said, but there's nothing you can really do you'll probably eventually start gaining weight even if you don't change your diet, because your body and the way it gains fat changes when you hit puberty.:confused: I would not worry about your weight or your eriod for another year or so.
