Split Topics

Is it possible for the moderation to split topics here? That is, assign posts to a new thread.

I'm considering extended of-topic discussion on ROTW with this in mind.

Which is, in fact, a great solution for off-topic posts.

This can easily be done by moving posts from one thread to another. If there's no thread already existing about the subject the oldest post moved will be the first.

Feel free to shoot an GD mod a request. This could be done.
