Ok, so I've had a crush on this girl for about 2 years now and because in the first year I was too shy and the second year we weren't in any classes together I hardly got to talk to her. :/ BUT this year I'm in more of her classes (including drama which is good for getting to know people) and I'm a lot more confident and we talk a lot more now, which is great! Today at the swimming carnival we just sat down and talked for ages between races which was awesome. But what isn't awesome is my immature, dick-headed "friends".

On previous threads, I've tried to tell people that I couldn't make a move on any girls because my idiot friends would try to embarrass me in front of them and bag me out for having actuall feelings, instead of liking people for their big tits. But everyone tried to reassure me that they would be jeleous of me and respect me for stepping up and trying to talk to girls. But guess what? I was right! Today I was talking to my crush for a while when the dickheads attacked by yelling out "Aaayyy Lachie! Havin a good chat?" Like they were Fonzie's Down syndrome cousins. They just constantly tried to embarrass me in front of her, just like I said they would. And the stupid thing is that when I got pissed at them, they got all "Aww c'mon mate! Were just joking around!" And expected me to immediately forgive and forget. They never take anything seriously! It pisses me off so much some times. I wish they would just leave me alone for even just one day! It'd be nice if they all just tripped and fell into a cats asshole or something.

So just a rant. Just needed to let that out. Although, feel free to share if you have "friends" that do the same thing. And tell me how you got them to grow up, if they ever did.

I'm not quite sure how to help, but maybe speaking to them one to one, in a serious manner might help? But, nonetheless, I'm sure this girl wouldn't mind in the slightest as long as you are honest and pleasant with her. I know it is a tough thing to do, being more mature than those around you, but try to ground yourself. Hope all goes well.

I was trying to get close to a girl, and then this asshole friend of my started say, oh you like her and stuff in front of her. When I told her how I felt she just said yes and walked away.

At least there were some of my real mates that I've known since preschool trying to tell the others that it's a dick move and stuff, but they still wouldn't listen. And it's also good that they didn't yell out "ahh you like her!" But I think both of us got the message. She didn't seem to feel grossed out or scared off or anything though because we did talk a bit a little later, which is good. But now I guess I'll have to make sure my "mates" aren't around when I talk to her. :/

just ignor them itll show her your more interested in her than what your mates are doing to you and eventually if they get no reaction outta you there gonna give up

Tell them to shut up or nut up. Nut up as in have the balls to confront a girl. Just know this sort of behavior changes with age. Your friends are still young and immature and cant empathize with your situation.
