When people post the same thing as a previous poster to me they just do it for post count. Wouldn't that be considered as spamming? To me its quite annoying and when i see that someone has posted what I was going to say I just leave the thread.

Yes that would be considered spamming. Along with sales people coming on here advertising the products.

so that would be considered spam

I guess it would be, but some people don't read all the replies to the thread.

I think they read it when they put stuff like Ditto or Agreed in the post but I'm mainly talking about the Puberty and H & A where what you post matters more

Posting a similar comment of what someone may have already said, unless intentional, is not spamming. Like if someone is copying exactly what someone says repeatedly then yeah that's spam, but to emphasize a point and it has some kind of originality to the post (like different wording) then its not spamming.

In Puberty101 and Help & Advice seeing more people having the same answers can emphasize the point and be beneficial the the thread starter that multiple people have the same opinion.

OK I didn't really think of it that way, but I still think some members on here do it just for post count because then they start making one line posts in several other threads and all of a sudden they have like 15 new posts in 15 minutes.

Some people just like to post and enjoy giving their opinion and don't think much else of it.

But still there will always be people who want to increase their post count but there's only so much we can do and that's usually when its coming a huge disruption.
