So earlier today, I got myself into a sticky situation. I was on MyLOL, a teen dating site, and I was really horny. I decided I wanted to compare sizes with a guy and I asked him if he wanted to. He said yes, I gave him my snapchat etc etc. Well, when I sent the picture he responded that he works for the NSW Police force and I had broken the law or something. I dont live in australia and I know he is probably either a hacker or a scam or something. t was an honest mistake, I should not have sent that picture, I was just so horny. I feel bad and I am scared. Please help. Has this ever happened to you? What happened? How much trouble can I get in?

My opinion is that he is either trying to scare you or scam you. Both aren't good. Just sever communication with him and don't try that with other people. That's the only advice I can give you.

its a scam the police here dont actively hunt down people underage sexing. the only time they get involved is if the pictures start getting spread around schools or the parents complain

The police here have better things to do than to just bust a kid for sending nudes but it's still not okay because sending nudes underage is, in fact, illegal. I'm sure it was not the police and they're not going to break down your door and arrest you. Please, be careful when you're doing stuff like this because you will have to deal with the consequences when you're actually caught in the act.

I never liked sexting , there is plenty of reasons , most of them are moral , but this is also one of reasons ..

Well technically, you did break the law. But it's obviously a scam. Because a cop would be more careful than that considering it's picture trading with a minor, and he could risk losing his job.

You did break the law, but whoever was the 'cop' didn't really think this through.

technically you did break the law, but it sounds like a scam to me. just ignore it. if it really is the cops I am sure you would have known by now

don't worry, he wasn't a cop, if he was he wouldn't have told you, you would have had a knock on your door the next day or shortly after. But do listen to the other peoples advise don't ever send nude pictures.
