I am 19 and whenever I meet someone whether they are young or old, when they ask how old I am, I ask them how old do they think I am. Most of them say I am around 15-16 years old. I know I will like the fact I look younger than I really am when I am in my 30s and so on, but right now its torture. I have been in college for three years now and my professors always ask if it is my first semester there, I cant help but glare and say NO. I don't have much facial hair so that doesn't help, and worst yet I cant attract girls my own age to me, every time I see a girl looking at me and smiling and I talk to her, she turns out to be like 15, and I can't and don't want to pursue that.

Be happy for who you are and the body you were given. People think you are younger? Please take it as a compliment. :)

I've been told I look like a baby, but as soon as they know who I really am, they're like "oh wow, he's really mature". I don't care if I look old or young.

Well be happy that you are 19 and people don't think you look 30. This is probably a little bit annoying but I suppose it's good because you look young for your age so you could look 45 at 60

yea it is worse when they think you are way older. and if it stays this way, you will be older one day and still look young. that will have some payoffs. not the end of the world to look a little younger

OMG, this is so my situation. I look way younger than I actually am. I have been teased painfully about looking young. This has been a major source of stress for me as girls my age would never go out with me because of how young I look. People have told me that this will be good for me when I get older, but it doesn't help now......

Look at it this way, when your 60 you'll probably look like your 50, then you will love it

I'm 15 and could easily pass for 9 or 10 years old because of high voice, no facial hair, being super short.
It sucks but nothing you can really do except let puberty do its thing ^-^

You have to change your attitude about it and accept yourself the way you are. Being unhappy about it and hating it and resenting it only eats at you from the inside out. It's unhealthy for your mental state.
My dad taught me this and I say it to myself from time to time during the day when I get upset about someone, something or whatever:
God (Higher Power, The Force, Universe or whatever works for you), grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change; Courage to change the things I can; and Wisdom to know the difference.
"be yourself; everyone else is already taken"

Shouldn't you be pleased? Dude, take it as a compliment! :D
Once I was at a library and I wanted to apply for a library card, and here in Sweden you can apply for free if you're under 18 (I'm 14) and when I asked the lady at the counter she made me pay and I needed to tell her that I was 14. Long story short, I look older than what I actually am...

Easy, don't shave and your beard will add at least 3 years.

Yesterday I showed a friend two selfies of me:
1)one of the day before with some facial hair and 2)one after I had a clean shave. I asked him to compare the two and tell me what age do I look in the two:
For the first one: around my age
And the second one: 3-4 years younger.
Difference: a clean shave makes you appear younger by about 3-4 years than a properly kept facial hair.
