I just decided what classes I am going to take next year and I figured I'd share.
AP European History
Honors Chemistry
Honors Algebra II
Honors English 10
Honors French II
Symphonic Band
Health
I think I'll do okay with this schedule. I haven't taken an AP class yet, but I hear from upperclassmen that it is a living nightmare. I think I'll see for myself though.

AP Euro is torture. It's boring as hell and has nothing to do with the US which repels a lot of kids from the course. But hey, go for it. I tried it, dropped after a quarter and ended up being fine.
I liked Honors Chemistry. Algebra 2 is not easy. Honors English was easy for me.
Can't say anything about the rest of them. Good luck!

Conversely, AP Euro is perhaps the most interesting course that my school offers, though I am disappointed that it does not go into near enough depth as it should for a majority of the subjects that it does cover.
Honors courses are terrible because there's both the AP and the final.

AP classes might be bad for the people, who hadn't had any worse. I came to US for yhis school year from europe. I only took only one ap course - APUSH,didn't go with ap for math or english. Now i regret it, because in regular classes we're learning stuff I've already learnt in 8th grde (I'm a junior now)

all sounds good. I wish i could take more courses in the humanities and social sciences, the most advances one. but, as you can tell from my name, i find the math ones don't come naturally LOL even though I LOVE anything to do with science
