I saw a thread like this a couple months ago, and with the final grind being upon us, I'd like to know your predictions. Any predictions are welcome, not just about who wins. Wild cards, comebacks, whatever you think is gonna happen.

Personally I think Nashville is going to at least make the finals. I'm unsure about the East since its pretty much a couple points separating the top 5.

I'm still clinging on to the hope Boston will hold on to a spot.

It's definitely pretty close. I'm not a big hockey fan, but I have kept up with this season more than any other. I'm thinking it's between the Preds, Red Wings, Islanders, Caps and Ducks.

Sorry about the Bruins though :P If it makes you feel better, a lot of Rangers fans here are pretty upset.

Honestly, this is the first year in a long time that I can say I don't even have a hunch. It's ridiculously close.

I want to say the Ducks (because I'm a Ducks fan obviously), but if Andersen goes down for any reason we're fucked. Our defense is still an issue and even if we get Tyler Myers, as rumored, I don't think it's going to help. Also, Boudreau is a long-time playoff choker behind the bench, once the season is over I'm always weary of him.

Nashville is a good prediction, they've finally got everything working for them and Laviolette has worked wonders on the team chemistry. I think I'll go with them for now.

Well, if I were to base it off of the standings and relative skill of the teams ATM;

TBL v BOS
NYI v NYR
MTL v DET
PIT v WSH

NSH v VAN
ANA v WPG
STL v CHI
CAL v SJS

I'd say:

TBL v MTL
NYI v PIT

NSH v CHI
ANA v CAL

and then:

MTL v NYI

ANA v NSH

And finally:

MTL v NSH

Montreal has been growing a Stanley cup team for years. If it weren't for price's injury last year, I firmly believe they would've won the cup. As much as it pains me to say that.

Not only the same division, but same conference. Maybe that'll be one of the second rounders.

Be a good series I bet.
