Hi guys. I'm turning 18 in a couple months, and I have a condition called pubertal gynecomastia, which is usually just called rock tit or nipple rock. It's basically a hard disc under your nipple that is sensitive and sore, and it makes your nipple puff out a lot.. It's really ugly and it really is a confidence-breaker, since they show through most shirts (especially my school uniform). I am a good looking guy and I'm pretty toned, but these nipples make me feel insecure. I'm going to university next year and I really wanna get rid of them and have a fresh start.. I can't get laid at all if I have these lol. I've had them since I was 13, so it's been about 5 years now and I'm really getting sick and tired of it. My doctor told me that it's just a puberty thing and it'll go away within 1-2 years but its been FIVE YEARS and nothing has happened. Surgery is an option, and bc I live in Canada money isn't an issue at all. I could go on meds but I really don't wanna do that.. cause they have side effects. I tried working out to get rid of it and have a healthy diet but that didn't do anything either. So now my only options are 1) Wait it out and hope it goes away before university starts OR 2) Get surgery done and never look back. If anyone has this or has had this, please talk to me and give me some advice!!
