i think that you should b able to delete your own posts

say if you thought the question was askign one thing, then you relise that it was asking something different that you cannot comment on, i think that you should be able to delete that post

I dont think so. Because somebody could create a topic, asking a certain question, and then delete their post. Then, when people view it, they wont have any idea what the answers are referring to, becuase there is no question left.

We don't do that cause there would be gaps in threads such as quotes etc....if you didnt like what you said you can edit it.

No because mods and Global mods should be able to do that. Members who do this can eventually abuse this new found power.

Just report a post (if you or someone else double posts) or quite simply contact a mod by PMing them. And if you don't like something you said, quite simply edit out what you said that you regret saying.

you can go back and edit it and delete what you put

not really. Its up to you to use the edit button and fix your post to fit your needs. and if you want it deleted edit it to say deleted and a mod might come around and remove it all together.
