So I'm 15 and for the past year or so I've started to get stench marks (become really depressed over them) I've been the doctor and he said there is nothing they can do other than cream. I have them on my back, belly and in a few other places. I was wondering if anyone my age or younger has them ? How do you feel about them ? I feel like I can't take my top of anywhere...

Hmm .. You are surely overweight in that case , it is usual .. Because skin starts to go wide , and due fat , it starts to crack , same problem have pregnant women .. In first , it is purple color , but after some time , it becomes white .. If you want to stop getting them , only solution is to lose weight .

don't worry even skinny people get them its when you grow so fast your skin can't keep up fully its perfectly normal

I have them on my arms on top of my biceps. They don't bother me, I noticed it's a family thing for me.

I have them on my hips and my behind, so I can relate. I'm very insecure about it.

I can relate to that too dude. I have them on my shoulder and makes me not want to take my shirt off either. I'd just do what Dennis98 says if that's the case. Me too.

So Yatesy; why are you depressed over that? It's not like you caused them; your body is doing exactly what it is supposed to do at your age....GROW!

You don't mention having a weight issue; I assume you are at a healthy weight for your age and height. Have you been getting chubby? Is that what this is all about?

If you are overweight then that's the problem. I have like two small stretch marks on my upper thigh but seems to be going away.

Mhh. Why all are talking about fat and weight? My brother got them too, but not from weight. He just started to growing too fast. And those stretches disappeared after some time. So I think you don't need to worry.

Yeah...one need not be overweight to hv strech marks...the are due to weight gain..I used to be 48kg and skinny as hell..but in 2.5 yrs have gone up to 65 kg..(mainly cos my GF wanted me to put on some).I am normal weight...I got stretch marks in my belly, lower back (love handle area), upper thighs and butt..They correspond to the areas where most of my new weight settled.
