or anywhere if you can relate Do other European countries count? I am gay and in the closet to most people (no, being 'out' to a few people doesn't count at all!). No, I have never touched a boy sexually and you fancying your best friend isn't abnormal at all, many gay/bisexual people feel the feelings you have towards people like him.

-I really fancy my best mate is this normal he's straight ? Yes, there's nothing wrong with that. Although, that's the bad news... he's straight. If you do anything further, you will get hurt. Gay males having feelings for their straight friends is very common.

I will only answer part - but yes its normal to "fancy" your best mate but you have to define what that means and realise its maybe something he will not be comfortable with.

It is completely normal to have a crush on straight friends, don't feel bad about it. These are normal things to go through, so don't get too worried that you're alone.
