I don't have a foreskin but that probably doesn't make much difference in what I use to wash.

Soap can be bad if you use the wrong soap. Just use shampoo. I do that and never had any issues with doing so.

But dude, word of advice, idk if you are gay or bi or str8, but most girls do not like guys to have pubic hair. Most girls like guys to completely shave off their pubic hair. I mean, if you were a girl, then would you like to have your nose buried in pubic hair or would you like to suck on hairy balls? I think this must vary from one country to another. Here in the UK most guys do not shave their public hair and I assume at least some of them still get head.

Back to the original question I tend to use shower gel for most of that area. One exception is the head of my penis which I only use plain water on.

There isn't going to be any difference is cleaning ability - if you check out all shampoos, liquid soaps, shower gels etc. you'll probably find they all have the active ingredient "sodium laureth sulfate" as this appears to be one of very few things that are both effective and safe.

Yes, there can be other differences - mositurising, conditioning etc.

Well i usually start with soap and clean the whole area (from my dick to asshole). Then i use some shampoo on my dick pubes and ass pube. Lastly i use some conditioner. This makes it nice and smooth and reduces friction

whether you wash with sop or shampoo, they are both going to do the same thing and that is to clean the area. I use soap or body wash, whatever I am using to clean my body with.

Shampoo is milder than soap. If you've ever used soap to wash your pretty blond hair, you probably noticed your hair was coarse and too hard to comb or brush unless you used conditioner. That's why they make shampoo milder than soap. I use soap all over my body & genital area to get good & clean. My uncut friends say soap is best for washing the foreskin and underneath it because soap kills the bacteria & germs that accumulate regularly from pre & pee better than shampoo. I've never had pee-hole pain from just washing with soap, but jacking in the shower with soap has caused that painful demon burning a few times.
