Brief question about underwear

Does it seem like briefs are becoming popular again? Like the tighty whities or whatever color kind of briefs, not boxerbriefs. My dad said everyone wore them when he was growing up then it switched to boxers. But some of my friends started wearing them now when they used to wear just boxers or boxerbriefs. I guess the colored ones look nice. Anyways I think I might start wearing them.

Guys and girls, what do you think? Do they look good? Would you wear them or want your boyfriend or whatever to wear them? Is this just some hipster thing?

I prefer them since I wear them. I accidentally bought boxerbriefs before and ended up actually cutting them into more "boyshorts" so they weren't as long. Still works and hey, the ragged look actually looks kinda neat. But I prefer something shorter unless I'm wearing regular baggy boxers around the house or under sweatpants.

I think they look hot on a guy. I also like regular boxers. It all comes down to comfort and preference really. You're wearing underwear for you 90% of the time, not anyone else.

I used to wear tighty whities when I was a little kid. I switched to boxers. I've tried boxer briefs but I prefer boxers. If you like briefs.... wear them I wouldn't worry about what other people think. Besides they shouldn't be looking at your underwear anyway.

Briefs are very practical, they support without interfering, no bunching up, hides random boners effectively, preferred by all sportsmen....now all small kids wear "boser briefs"...My GF loves them too.

Fashion especially clothing and what is popular is always changing. Give it a few years and what it popular now might be considered weird later on. I would say wear whatever you find comfortable.

I am usually a boxer briefs/trunks guy but I do own some briefs as well. I got some nicer briefs (that I bought on sale) and they can look pretty sexy on me and my gf likes them too.

I think boys look hot in briefs, and I have worn them, but because I started playing sports I started to wear boxerbriefs. I think its a trend thats making a huge come back.

and certain briefs are designed to enhance the area even more . they are usually more expensive (they also make boxer briefs with the same material/made the same way), but if that is an issue you are concerned about, it is always something you could do

I see what you mean. Like there are styles in briefs or stylish briefs. I was asking about basic briefs. Like classic tighty whities. But there is a whole universe of briefs out there. haha

it is all about preference. some guys love boxers. me, they offer no support and are just plain uncomfortable. maybe if i was going to be walking around in a pair of boxers, but even then i would rather be wearing boxer briefs/trunks or even briefs

I usually wear these boxers that are a bit tighter but not as tight as briefs so that's a happy medium I guess.

I think boxer briefs (or compression shorts) look way better on attractive guys than regular boxers. But once they get too short I don't really like the look at much for some reason. Also I'm a bit of a hypocrite because I really only wear boxers haha. I may buy some boxer briefs soon though.

For the most part, both dad and brother wears briefs and always have. Brother and I have a few trunks and boxer briefs but on normal day, briefs it is. I dont care what others wear in the locker room or what is popular. If it fits me and looks good and is equally comfortable, then who cares.

Those specific purple ones are briefs. I have purple with thin stripes that I like too.

When I wear undies it is low rise briefs. I like the support they provide, they are comfortable, and look about the same as speedos, so yeah, I like the look. I prefer black Jockey low rise.

tbh I like the freedom of movement in boxers. But my bf says he has more freedom with briefs. I'm going to try them out for awhile and see.

For soccer and gym I have some rawlings sports briefs that have a place for a cup in them. Most guys dont wear cups any more but a few of us do cause we don't wanna take any chances, and the rules do say you have to wear one ... for swimming i have a jock that fits under my speedo but I never wear it, just a speedo, which i also wear under my shorts at the beach or lake

well i sleep nude mostly, but if i sleep at a friends, I wear my briefs. boxers to me are like regular shorts, too heavy, the leg part gets uncomfortable when it rides up. bikini briefs are almost being naked but provide support. much cooler too.

You can get them in mostly all colors and patterns. They come in all colors and look really cool, and the GF and my BF love them.

I prefer boxerbriefs over briefs for myself and on other people - they're way more comfortable and they look better. I don't think briefs are coming back into style in the UK, it still seems to be largely boxerbriefs/boxers.
