I've always feel more gothic but could never be it (openly)... When I get to college I'm definitely embracing my darker side and true ways.
Although to be honest... I'm not sure how to be goth...

I don't really think "goth" is really something there are standards for. I have a very "goth" look to my wardrobe but I'm not gonna start talking about how my soul aches for the redemption of my sins or something.
It's a fashion choice like any other. Just wear what you want.

Eh, maybe a little.
I feel sometimes I fall into the goth Lolita category, which is amusing given my size.

I can pull off an "all black" look as an occasional outfit, but not the whole black hair, black makeup, black nails, or the body piercings.
We have a small goth clique in my school. Harmess but always with the negative opinions about pretty much anything. One girl swears shes a "real vampire" and other claims shes actually a "wolf". They both get offended when others don't take them seriously even tho it's totally irrational. Im sure "slenderman" is like their hero or something.

What's wrong with your size? I'm a small androgynous male so I could do Lolita but won't... yet.

Many goths are weird but some are spiritual druids, Wiccans, or other pagans. I would do the clothes, nails, and piercings in the future.

Eh, I'm pretty tall, and not resembling a little girl in the slightest. Hell, I can wear plus-sized clothing.
It'd just be kinda disjointed imo. I don't think I could pull it off.

I'm 5'3" and skinny... Lolita girls would love this... I don't though. The height is fine, my size, not so much. Oh come now. If you have a feminine style then try it out. Don't knock it till you try it.

Well yeah, but Lolita girls are supposed to be small.
I've essentially been told I'd look ugly, gawky, and fat if I tried :/

:( I wanna cry... Why couldn't I be able to pass as a girl? Um well, I don't think you are ugly at all. A little weird but I am weird too. Lolita is kinda weird too.
Well I do have a small-small frame and size... Maybe I should give Lolita a try or be a girly boy one day just to try it.

I am goth. But you'd never know. I don't do the whole look. And i think people who think they are vampires and shit and are very cynical are poseurs. They don't know what goth is, they think it will make them cool if they dress goth and talk like they are vampires, but honestly, they are just misinformed, angsty, attention seeking teens trying to find their place. They should grow out of it or properly into it by 18. Lol.

Me? I'd go goth and stay that way for a loooooooooooooooong time since I've always wanted to embrace that side of me both in how I look and express myself.

Honestly, the goth style and paganism have very little to do with one another. Gothic fashion is a trend, paganism is a theology. I actually get a little annoyed when the automatic assumption is that all pagans must be goth or all goths must be a witch. There's actually very little connection other than coincidence.
I don't even know what a "real goth" means. If you like goth clothes, great. If you like some of the other weird shit behind it, okay. It's a trend like hipsters or anything else. Not all hipsters drink Starbucks and use polaroid cameras. There are stereotypes behind every fashion trend so people shouldn't worry about being a "real goth" or whatever. Like hell I'm gonna wear black lipstick.

I was talking about the compatibility. Gothic culture and Paganism do indeed go well together. Gothic and Christianity? Not so much. I know many Pagan goths. And I meant goth as in the style and how you think and see the world.

Oh, I was saying that you'd be better-suited for it than I would be, sorry.

I just don't know if I'd do the maintenance... It takes a lot to be feminine and then I don't know if I could be feminine... for me it would feel weird... Being male feels weird too.

Not really. Most of my clothes are dark colors, but I don't really gravitate towards "gothic" things.

Yeah I seem to struggle going to one said over the other despite having very feminine characteristics.
