just curious about how "flamboyant" other gay guys are...I have nothing against it, but I don't, myself, act very flamboyant at all. I more fit into the "redneck" or "hic" lifestyle. I don't have a noticeable speech difference like some guys do, and I'm not feminine.

Purely just wondering :)

Same here. I don't have that gay sound, I don't dress flamboyantly and most of my friends were surprised when I told them.

Lol, I don't act flamboyant at all...I'm super short and girly looking but I don't have a speech difference or anything. Most people think I'm a tomboyish girl but not a gay guy which is really weird and a lot are surprised when they find out about my sexuality.

I don't act flamboyant or overly masculine so most people don't know I'm not straight, or at least they haven't said so. Honestly, I really like "undercover guys". ;) ...that unfortunately makes them Extremely hard to find.

I think the question should have been "How many NON flamboyant gay guys are here?" based on the responses. LOL

I can be feminine when I want to be. I don't classify myself as just masculine. I embrace my sexuality. I do enjoy wearing scarves and ballet dance. Then again I like sports, so yeah.

I think what people define as masculine and feminine plays a big part as well.

I'm flamboyant and feminine. I see no problem with it. It doesn't really change my attitude or personality. I do not have the "gay" sound either.

I wouldn't consider myself to be flamboyant or different sounding at all. I am told I dress well, but overall I don't think many people would guess I am bi. I am personally not a big fan of guys that are overly-flamboyant and/or have a certain voice, so that influences the way I act to some extent too.

I'm not really in either category. I dance ballet and sing, but I'm not into fashion or anything like that. Some people can definitely tell which team I swing for, but I could care less about stereotypes. I just try to be myself.

I'm pretty much the same as you Jacob. probably not as "redneck" but I have a country streak in me. :)

I'm weird. Mine changes like a lot depending on who I'm talking to or what mood I'm in.

Most of the time I'll act and sound "straight", but at other time's I'll be flamboyant but not too flamboyant, but it will be to the point where people question my sexuality (I'm still in the closet). I usually talk flamboyantly to my girl friend who I am out to.

I also dress pretty "straight", like I'll dress like a hick, but I'm not even white. And my interests are not usually things a lot of gay people are interested in. But at the same time I've got a tumblr, and I love Starbucks.

In 15 and I consider myself to be quite 'manly' no one (I hope) would ever suspect I'm gay I kind of like being 'undercover'

Me too. I have guys who act like girls. Straight or gay , it is just annoying.

I'm not really flamboyant at all. It's just not me, and I don't have a high pitched, annoying voice either, contrary to popular stereotypes.

Im not the flamboyant or girly type either. I have been described and describe myself as an all boy. I like to play sports, wrestle, get dirty and do other boy stuff, but I am totally gay and out about it.

You can easily tell I am gay. Like you do NOT need to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out that I am gay. :3

I am not really flamboyant or "overly gay". Not that I like to stereotype or pigeonhole people (being gay just means you like guys), but rather than my mannerisms or anything like that it's my taste in music and TV and stuff that "gives it away". Like I love Taylor Swift and Britney rather than Eminem, I would rather watch Big Brother than football and Bridesmaids/Mean Girls are among my favourite films but I hate action films.
