Favorite sports player?

Hey I just wanted to know, who is your favorite sports player? It doesn't have to be a professional, just someone who you really like.

My favorite is(was) Martin Brodeur, NHL goalie. He just retired today but honestly he was one of, if not the best. Most wins, most shutouts, 3 cups. Probably many more records I've missed. I don't really cheer for either of his teams either.

I like many of the classic athletes, Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson, Muhammad Ali, Wilt Chamberlain, Michael Jordan.

With female athletes, Billie Jean King, Mary Lou Retton, Kristi Yamaguchi, Williams sisters, Mia Hamm, Danica Patrick.

my fav current player is probably Aaron Rodgers though I did get to see some of Favre's career and he will always probably be one of my all time favs

Well, hockey is the only sport I follow so naturally the only players I really care about are hockey players. Ryan Getzlaf has been my favorite since I was 10 or so, when he broke into the league. He's the complete package of size, skill and leadership. Too bad about the premature baldness though...
