You know, a part of me thinks it's weird and another part of me thinks it's really no different to getting yourself off thinking of the person. I think I'd feel guilty if I were using a photo they put up online definitely without the intention of it being used that way but that's just me.

I think you'd be crossing a boundary by telling them though. Keep those things to yourself. Some girls might be flattered (idk, I mean if a dude thought I was that hot, I'd have a moment of ego-inflation after being weirded out initially) but it's also a bit intrusive of their privacy and it would feel weird and a bit uncomfortable afterwards. Some girls might just think you're a creep for using their photos that way.

I'll just say that I don't think there's anything explicitly wrong for doing this but it's something you should probably keep private.

I would agree with that. Selfies and bikini pics are almost too obviously for male attention. One girl I know posted a selfie pic where she's only wearing a thong bikini and socks and her caption was "look at my new socks, aren't they nice?"

I echo what most other people have said. It is not weird to fantasise about someone you find attractive while you masturbate and a pic on Facebook is just one way to do that.
