Ball shaving?

so after a lot of debate I finally decided to go for it and shaved my pubic hair. Now I did the region above the penis but can't get courage to do my balls. How do you do that scrotum? The skin keeps getting in the blades (have cut myself with a trimmer). I have a manual razor btw.

samir167ahuja it is a tricky thing to do. Usually the best way to do it is when you're cold, so your scrotum is shriveled and close to your body. That is what I've heard and I haven't cut myself since doing it that way. I use a manual razor and just shave like normal around the sides, and lightly down the middle. It helps if you use a new, sharp razor so the chances of cutting yourself are low.

I wouldn't shave your balls, not much (if any) hair grows on the balls, for me I only have hair above my penis, not none on or near the shaft. If you have hair there trim it neatly, but shaving can be dangerous and the balls are sensitive.

I shave my balls, and the trick is to keep the skin taut, then gently run the blade over the skin. Only got nicked once so I guess it works XD

Just be gentle when doing it , and keep in mind that it shaving needs much time , so go fast , just , nice , gentle and slowly ..

Just be super careful. I shave my balls and the base of the shaft about every two weeks and it just takes a lot of patience. You can't rush it.

This is true -- just pull the skin back. It's a myth that you'll cut yourself just because our sacs have wrinkles! If you stretch the sac skin, and are careful, it's easy to shave. Also it looks amazing once all done and the sac tightens up!

I shave frequently. It honestly helps if you shave while you are taking a shower (the water acts as a good lube for the blades while they are going across the skin and also the water helps you not cut yourself.). And, also, if you don't want to shave while you take a shower, then it helps if you shave while your balls are tight and close to your body. Oh and btw, if you are using a electric razor, then most electric razors are water resistant/waterproof.

DO NOT USE A TRIMMER! The blades can catch a bit of your scrum skin and it'll hurt bad.

First, use scissors to cut off as much hair as you can to make shaving easier and lessen the amount of hair you have to shave. The more long hair the more it'll clog the razor.

You must use shaving cream & a fresh multi-blade razor. Cover your balls in shaving cream and with one hand grab one ball first and tighten the skin and carefully shave it. Then grab the other ball, slightly squeeze just enough to tighten the skin and carefully shave. You must rinse the razor frequently to remove the hair from the blades, and with your index finger or thumb, rub the blades in the direction of the blades to remove the hair. You won't get cut rubbing in this direction. Then grasp both balls together, tighten the skin and shave any remaining hair. You may have to go over areas several times since you already have hair there. Release your hand and look around to see what you missed and shave. If you want to do your pereneum, the area just below your scrotum going to your anus you can do that too. The anus itself is up to you, same process. Just go by feel, it's a small area.

Big advice,never ever use alcohol based aftershave on penis and balls...Never ever! It just destroys the wish in life in you for the next 3-4 minutes,first time i shaved i did it,and i just bent down,and cried for like 5 minutest straight :D Just,don't do that and you will be fine :D

Yea.... definitely do it in the shower with the water good and hot. It's easiest when your balls are hanging at their lowest and the skin is all relaxed. Just grab your sack and pull it kinda taut, make sure it's good and soapy and work in small patches.

My balls aren't too hairy so I don't have to do it real often, but its great feeling them all ncie and smooth...and girls are more likely to put their mouths on a nice clean work space haha

Just make sure to have the scrotal skin taut, and thne it should be fine. Make sure to have a mirror or something, so that you have a full view.

Welcome to the world of people with smooth pubic areas, haha. Definitely use a manual razor and just pull the skin of the scrotum taut before shaving it. It may leave you with a hair or two that gets missed, but it's better than cutting yourself. I start with the back and the sides, then move forward. Usually it's better to trim the hair before shaving it clean, to avoid razor burn. Especially later into puberty with the oils of your skin and such. Hope this helps a bit.

I'll add my two cents and suggest using shave cream. It makes the blades glide more easily (at least for me) instead of just soap. Everyone has given excellent suggestions and if you shave your balls on a regular basis you'll find it easier than when you first started.
Use a mild skin cream like Lubriderm when you are done. Never use anything alcohol based and NEVER use hair removal cream. It is EXTREMELY PAINFUL!
