Hi, about 2-3 years ago when I was 11 I started sweating alot more and worse. I just thought it was puberty but then now I'm 14 and I still sweat alot. I always get big sweat stains on my shirt when I'm wearing a jacket or blazer or if I'm walking uphill with no Jacket on. I get little stains not as bad while I'm sitting down with no Jacket.I have tried deodorant that stops sweating but none work! Is there something seriously wrong with me?? Whenever I'm with people and I'm wearing the same clothes they don't sweat but I have huge sweat stains! Help

I somewhat agree with Junior, it's just a stage of Puberty probably, but there is a slight chance you might have Hyperhidrosis, a medical condition related to excessive sweating. There are two main types of Hyperhidrosis, 1. Localized Hyperhidrosis - Excessive sweating localized to specific parts of the body, 2. Generalized Hyperhidrosis - affecting the entire body. If you have Hyperhidrosis, you most likely have the latter. Generalized hyperhidrosis is often a symptom of an underlying health condition, including metabolic disorders (such as hyperthyroidism), diabetes, infections or lymphatic tumors. Changes in hormones brought on by menopause, as well as anxiety, have also been known to cause generalized hyperhidrosis. But, since you're a teenaged guy, you probably don't have to worry about that Menopause bit. XD

Anyway, if you actually think it's really unusual and it's a problem/medical condition, try contacting your doctor and asking him about it. Good luck, mate.

sweating really is a part of puberty, maybe others in your school haven't reached as far as you. There are some really strong deoderents i think if you talk to your doctor

Puberty for All  VT General Hospital

This is more about a medical issue than puberty.

While others say this is just puberty, I've never seen a boy sweat quite that much during puberty. You can speak to a doctor if it's a big issue for you and they may refer you to a specialist to get a consult.

This may be puberty but it does sound like its a bit excessive. See your doctor and they'll be able to tell you what it is. May be a bacterial infection of sorts, I know my friend had that.

I agree with Excalibur it sounds like Hyperhydrosis. I hope ou are using a Antiperspirant and not deodorant. Anti antiperspirants actually shrink your pores to cut off the under arms ability to sweat. I would talk to a doctor.
