Mouse alternatives for Mac

I am looking for a mouse to use with my macbook.

I like the design of the magic mouse, but it seems a little expensive for what you get.

Do you know of any good alternatives?

Basically any mouse that says it's USB compatible with Mac and PC would work unless you have a preference in build.

I have a mouse that's probably from a decade ago that works just fine for me (although I rarely use it anyway).
