Im a 16 year old boy and have never had a boyfriend before. Im gay and i would really want to have one, but how do i know hows right for me? anybody want to talk?

I've never been in a relationship either. You would know who's right for you if they love you for you, same interests...etc.

Well, that all depends on if you have a good relationship with that person. If you've been good friends for a while, I'd say just casually asking them, trying your best not to sound creepy or prying. If you don't know them well enough to feel comfortable doing that, I would HIGHLY not suggest this, but if you must know, I would just watch them and see if you can find any clues of their orientation, see who they're more flirtatious with, etc. But really, until you really get to know that person, I wouldn't try to pry into their life like that, especially if there's a possibly of them still being in the closet. Well, my favourite motto about relationships particularly applies here: Fall in love. Let it happen. Just remember that you are in no rush, you have an entire lifetime of relationships ahead of you. Make friends and/or a friendship group, and find people who you trust and like. At some point you will find that you are interested in one of your friends. You will already know them well enough to ask about sexuality, and you will already know each other a little already, so if anything happens, you both understand, and no hard feelings are left-over.

You're only 16. There is time. Once you leave school and go to college and move out of home and get a job, you'll be moving in new circles with new people and new opportunities. You don't have to have a relationship right now to be happy or fulfilled, and it doesn't mean you'll never be happy or fulfilled just because you don't have a boyfriend now. For some of us, it can be a lot harder when you're gay.

The only way to know who is right for you to is to start experimenting, dating, and finding out what you like.
