Regarding Ban Reasons

I've noticed a lot of users get banned but it's normally kept secret about why they were banned? how come it's kept secret?

I guess I'm not really used to it being kept secret as I used to some other sites where I used to be a part of and they always put the reason why they are banned. Either way just wondering why they are kept secret.

It's kept secret because quite frankly it's nobody's business but staff's and the user in question. It would be a violation of privacy to publicize that information.

Exactly what Elysium said. It's really nobodies business, and if the staff told everyone (The members of VT, being over 100,000?) it'd be a violation of their privacy.

Yeah that's true, it would someways invade their privacy on what they did wrong. Either way thanks for answering!

I asked this same question in another thread, lol. However if you are so curious, I ended up thinking about it and my guess is that most people register with a fake birthday and don't realize that you can't register with an age over 19, so they get banned because of that.

But yeah, no one knows, other than the person that banned them, we'll just have to guess.
