We do not delete profiles, if you wish to cease your membership, you can change your information and username.

Then, out of curiosity, why did I see an unregistered user in a thread recently? (Can I find said thread now? Of course not.) Or was I hallucinating this?
[-]I swear I saw it... username was like unregisterme or something.[/-]
'Cause I know the no deletion rule well and I could have sworn I did a double take.

Unregistered does not mean that their account was deleted, it means that the user changed his or her email address and never activated the account via the activation email.

Huh, didn't know that's how that worked. Well, that solves that mystery of the week.

Yea, dude as Mike (ImCoolBeans) said you can't delete your account, and honestly I don't see why you want to. If you don't want to come back to VT, simply just don't come back. Or PM and administrator and have them reset your password to something you don't know. Or request to be banned to prevent it. I just don't see the reason to actually delete your account.

You can reset your own password; you don't need to go through an administrator.

Well if he didn't want to come back he could have an administrator reset it to something he doesn't know. Like he would if he reset the password because you have to match it. Like "Enter new password" and then "Re-enter..."

I meant to point out that you could change it to something you'd never be able to repeat (something like a keyboard smash), so you don't have to go through the trouble of having an administrator do it for you. Saves you time, I suppose.
