Tears I thought had long been dry,
Have come to breathe new air,
As I ponder the question; why?
The millions, billions that suffer each day,
Hope for the good, await its arrival,
But only one thing is ever certain; pain,
I feel that pain, I empathize,
I suffer with all, though only few do I know,
And none doth explain the feelings that rise,
All these people, all these souls,
Living all but a meaningless existence,
To live, die, and be buried in a hole,
Think of all the evil, the bad,
Imagine how it feels to be victim,
Truly knowing this tainted world, is all but sad,
It is not the problems of my own,
But knowing that of others,
That truly makes me disgust this world,
For all that is, was, and ever will be,
Is but a part of a cruel game,
Played by the Gods just to see:
What will we do?
Have come to breathe new air,
As I ponder the question; why?
The millions, billions that suffer each day,
Hope for the good, await its arrival,
But only one thing is ever certain; pain,
I feel that pain, I empathize,
I suffer with all, though only few do I know,
And none doth explain the feelings that rise,
All these people, all these souls,
Living all but a meaningless existence,
To live, die, and be buried in a hole,
Think of all the evil, the bad,
Imagine how it feels to be victim,
Truly knowing this tainted world, is all but sad,

But knowing that of others,

For all that is, was, and ever will be,
