Breast Growth

My boobs started to bud after my 12th birthday, the actual breast grew very little but my areola and nipples grew very puffy and pointy and stick up lot above what little breast I have.
My question is has anyone else started development like this and up to what age do they stay so puffy and pointy and quite noticeable especially in a swimsuit. Thanks.

Hi Little Angel :)

I'm probably not the best to reply, because my boobs grew really quickly. Mine didn't stay puffy that long because I grew so quickly, but my advice would be just relax and let your body do what it does. As for the swimsuit dilemma, you're either going to be puffy or have boobs so either way it's going to be noticeable.

It depends on the person. Mine didn't start rounding out until I was about 18 (no, I'm not kidding) and they originally started developing when I was 10. Even now, I'm still kind of in what looks like an in between stage but I know I'm done growing, short of some miracle.

Give it a few years. Some people are late bloomers, some people are just small-breasted forever, etc. You may go through a growth spurt in the next couple of years. My sister was like that, iirc.

I was an A cup for the longest time then at around 15 yrs old they grew a lot. As for my nipples and areolas they were never big and not really puffy.

I had mosquito bites up until about 7th grade. Over the summer before 8th grade they really started developing fast and before 8th grade was over, I was a large C. Now I am a D (sometimes a DD if I get my bras from VS) and think they may be done growing. We all develop differently. There is a girl in my neighborhood who was so flat until her senior year in high school and now she's like an E cup. Relax, you'll be fine :)

The body has a way of messing with us. I had what my mom called "Bottle Cap" nipples till I was 17 and everything rounded out. The only thing I hated about boobs growing is how damn tender mine got at times.

It's completely normal and nothing to worry about that's exactly how they grow. The nipples bud out first and will stuck out a lot and after that the actually breast around it will grow.

To answer your question, it depends on the person. Some people develop faster, some slower. Your body will develop at it's own speed. You could use me as an example, my breasts didn't start budding until I was 13. I'm now 15 almost 16 and my breasts are still little buds because I develop a lot slower than the average girl. Every girl my age are wearing cupped bras and I'm still flat as a board lol.

Also about the swimsuit, if you feel self conscious about your nipples poking out try a padded one or one with ruffles over it so it hides the awkward pointiness that you currently have. Hope this helps :)

i budded when i was 12 to and they are still really small and a bit pointy and sometimes they are really sensitive. its kind of akward
