For a while before Christmas I spent a lot of time on my laptop cause I never had much to do in any of my classes and I really had nothing to do at home other than watch my brother and sister occasionally which included of course watching uninteresting little kid shows i.e. Thomas the train, there are others like Shera (just not my thing). *fast forward to after Christmas, now we own a Wii U little sister is on it basically from the time she gets up till she goes to bed*. I have had a good bit of schoolwork lately and I have had to use my laptop more than I'd lie to. Last night I was making french fries*homemade* and was staying in the kitchen to keep them from overcooking and there is no point in going back and forth between kitchen and living room, so I took my laptop in the kitchen with me to play while I wait for fries to cook. My little sister comes in and starts talking about how I'm always on my laptop and I told her she doesn't have any room to talk honestly. Well it just kept on going and then when it was time for bed I went to put netflix on for them (they like this show called Larva, it's a cartoon without any talking kinda like Zig & Sharko or Oggy and the Cockroaches. Well netflix decided not to work and I was just going to put a movie in and she pitches this god awful fit. Being 8 almost 9 this is not something she should do. Then she starts blaming me saying all she does is love me (Her excuse for being a little brat) I told her she had been a little brat to everyone lately I didn't know what she was talking about, so I cut the TV off and left the room.:mad: What the what do I do?

I also have a younger sibling my brother is 6 years old and a little brat at times. I always compromise with him and stoop to his level way always help. I always keep in mind that I once his age and sure that I was a brat too. I try and talk to him on his level and compromise the best way I can and negotiate with him. And if that don't work I knock the snot out of him. NO JUST KIDDING.

Let her throw a fit, let her complain and be like "so what?", tell her you love her and I'm sure she'll stop. Don't let her get the best of you, you're doing your best to tolerate it.
