Look young??

I'm almost 18 but I look young - mostly because I'm really short. I considered belly button piercings but I heard those can get gross when you're older. I want a tattoo eventually but I don't want to go there yet. I'm tired of being the cute one... How can I look older / be sexier and less cute?

I'm a male and have no idea on how to answer this but if you want to try looking older, have you tried different hair designs depending on what type of hair you got whether it's long or short. You can also wear ear rings if you have gotten your ears pierced. There's plenty of ways of looking older without doing too much change to your body. I'd say try different hair styles first. Sorry this is not much of a help since I'm a guy!

Be same as you are now , there is no reason to do piercing or to tatoo ... Remember , youth is transient period of your life , you won't be same forever. Think that you won't be same for 20 or 30 years , you won't be young always ... Most of young people don't think about about some deep , far and unknown future , they usually think from today until tomorrow , which is wrong , nothing will be same for 20 years or so ... Think about future , remember , how are you going to look with tattoos for 50 years ( only God knows how long is everyone going to live , no one knows how much will live life ) , but think ... Life is just transient period , today you're alive , tomorrow you aren't here anymore , and everything will be same after you , your or anyone death won't change anything , few days of mourning and life continues after it , you go under ground , all other continue life as usual , it is unwritten natural law , and everyone no matter be short , tall , rich , beautiful , ugly, white , black , Atheist , Theist etc , everyone have same end , that is only thing you can't choose , death ... And about your look , you aren't only one ... Same is with me , but my height helps me a lot , when I shave facial , I look like 12 or 13 year old , so called "baby face" , but it'll disappear through time , and then you will regret because of it ...

How could piercing or tattoo make anyone look older? I look like 11 year old, with piercing and tattoo i would look like a pierced and tattooed 11 year old. =ugly

I had a straight-across fringe and now I have it longer and off to the side and, as someone else with a babyface, it actually makes me look a little older. If you like makeup, try some of that. Experiment with what you like and what makes you feel comfortable.

Sorry to say but you're probably gonna be stuck with the 'cute' label. You'll be glad for it as an adult though. Gotta love those young genes... hate 'em while you have 'em, miss 'em when they're gone.

As it was said, try different hair styles, and maybe a different clothing style? Maybe something a bit elegant/casual to formal? As Oscar Wilde said, you can never be overdressed (or overeducated, but that has nothing to do with the topic:) ).

I don't think tattoos and piercings make you look older, quite the contrary.

I don't like that stuff and I don't think those make you any older and being cute and look young is cool lol
