So here is the question: "Are you clean?"
I will explain now. How can i ask my partner if he is STD free? Is that even appropriate?

That is totally appropriate. You have a right to know that. It just depends how you bring it up. I think you should have him over or go to his house and just watch tv and casually say "Hey, I have an important question, it's a bit personal but I was wondering if you are STD free?" If you guys are going to have sexual intercourse you should know each other's sexual health. Remember, be safe.

" Hey we could go raw, maybe? I mean I'm clean, and so are you, right? " or find something, anything where you could spring off the conversation of STD's and then ask him.

Just be upfront. If you're going to be sexual say to this person "I'm into safer sex. What we want to do could pass an sti. Let's get tested, but until then let's do safer stuff like mutual". There's free clinics all over. It's your right and if this person is clean they'll have no problem.

I agree with Jersey. if this will be a long term relationship get tested. One night stands use protection. Remember not everyone will tell you the truth.

You totally have a right. This falls under the 'super important questions'. If your partner is offended then they're being childish or rediculous

Perfect answer. If the person cares about your health she/he will understand the purpose behind your question and understand that it is your right.
