How many of you are open with your Dad about growing up and questions? I see a lot of older bros and buds on here (which is the case for me too), but my Dad has always been my first and best support. He doesn't freak out, he answers me plainly, tells me his experience/thoughts from when he was my age, and he doesn't judge. He's always calm about it and doesn't try to be my bud. I can never express how much I love this about him adequately. I mean he knows I love him, we say it each day and I proudly hug my pop whenever. Any of you guys have Dads like that? I think it makes all this crap so much easier than it could be.

I can ask my dad anything at all and he will answer my questions honestly and he won't be embarrassed about it

I'm not very close with my dad and rarely see him. Most of my interaction with him over the last 10 years has been him letting me down, canceling plans, and dodging calls when tuition payment comes up. Not really a source of anything except child support and the occasional lunch once or twice per month. I wish it were different, very much, but this is the way he's set it up to be, so I guess that's how it is.

My Dad and I are close and talk about every thing but sex. He is just that way and I think now I would be shocked if we started talking about things like that. It's cool you can do that and you have a big bro.

I can ask my dad anything.. he's extremely open and more like a friend rather than a dad.

Nope. We were never close enough to talk about much of anything.

My dad is great. My brothers and I are really close to him and he's a great role model. He's always there for us no matter what. He's sacrificed alot of himself for us.

My dad is the family member I have the most arguments with.
At a time he is the one I look up to the most.
