I dunno. Is it depressing? Nostalgic? accurate? Touching? Cool? Does it have a nice plot?

What's the main genre? It sounds very interesting, as taking 12 years! Lol I might see it sometime

It's a mix of different emotions throughout the whole film. Sometimes you feel down and sad. Other times you feel uplifted and happy. It's very accurate. I mean they did follow the same actor for 12 years lol. Some people complain that it didn't have a true "storyline", but really it doesn't need that for it to be an awesome movie. Just ask yourself, "does life have a storyline, or is it a little random?"

Reason I ask is cuz I cry easily and am more of the comedy genre. Plus I'm quite nostalgic for my childhood before body door and all this puberty bs started happening. But if you say it's a good movie then perhaps I'll check it out

It's a long movie, boring at times, but good overall. It's almost 3 hours and a lot could/should have been cut out, It definitely has the credentials to win best picture because it's long and boring, just kidding.

I'm debating watching it but something that long without an actual plot? I mean, neat concept but you might as well call it a documentary of your kid's life rather than a movie.
