Hi everybody!
So yesterday night I had a hard time falling asleep because I had songs stuck in my head lol but usually when I have trouble sleeping I start getting nervous which sometimes makes it even harder for me to fall asleep.
I eventually was able to sleep though, but I was wondering, what do you guys do whenever you can't fall asleep?

I try listening to music but if I'm still not asleep by about three in the morning then i would usually get up and do something productive such as homework or reading. I can normally get to sleep pretty easily after that

I usually get up and just maybe get a snack or juice. Make sure your comfy and the room is an ok temperature - if your worried about something I just maybe make a few notes or scribbles about sorting it out.

I find it hard to sleep as well, but I take medication for it and if that still doesn't work then I just listen to music on my earphones or count sheep. However, everyone's different so maybe try different methods and see what works for you. Maybe try hot baths or drinking something warm before bed, if that doesn't work maybe try the opposite; have a cool environment to sleep in. Hope you work something out:)

I start to eat as it is kinda hard to sleep on an empty stomach. Hang out on the computer until my eyes start to hurt.

As of late I been kinda lucky, even when I'm not tired I just lay down and I doze off sooner or later. I try to at least get six hours of sleep if there is class and more if a test or an important date is coming.

I usually just read or watch tv. I remember a song got stuck in me head one night a couple years ago, it was the Pokemon theme song and it would not go away, I was so pissed at myself.

I read a bit or listen to slow music or sound generators (http://mynoise.net/noiseMachines.php).

Or I used to take melatonin which you can get over the counter for sleep.

Count sheep XD

But seriously, I sometimes pull an all-nighter. That means the next day I get tired earlier, and that means fall asleep earlier, which means making up the sleep.

Got this down to a science XD

That happens to me pretty often, too. I'll usually grab my phone and browse tumblr or just the internet for a while. Sometimes I'll read a bit.

I would try to exercise/walk around or something to wear me out.
I also drink hot liquids to keep me warm.
