So over winter break we had all my family over and on the day after christmas all the adults went to a dinner party leaving me, my older female cousin
My baby cousin who is 3 and my othe cousin who is 7 so basically me (17)and my older cousin (19) were having sex when all of the sudden my 7 year old younger cousin walked into my room and saw me and my older cosin having sex. In shock we just stoped and stared at her for a miniute and she ran away crying. Should i talk to her about it or leave it alone?

I think you should make sure your cousin sees someone about that before it becomes a trauma. Seven's a pretty tender age. Also next time I'd suggest having sex in a private room which is locked.

At that age they don't know what sex is, they'd assume you were getting changed. Could even pass it off as hugging, etc.

On another note - children of that age will try to act out what they don't understand through play. This may be interpretted as abuse by teachers. Best thing to do is really dependant on how your parents would react... But think about telling for the childs sake.

The important question here is NOT should you talk to the 7 yo, it's why are you having sex with your cousin? This is both illegal and morally void.

This. Even if it is valid, I doubt you want to hear the real answer. Because I really don't think your parents would be ok with this.

All I can say is you and her should have been a lot more careful to start with to avoid any such interruptions! You might want to talk to her, you might not. Depends what she saw and thought from her age and perspective.
Chances she might say something that could get you in trouble. You'll know better if there is a next time.

No point in lying. Children's remember things like these well and WILL KNOW what you guys were doing when she learns what sex is and then she'll remember her older cousins having sex in an unlocked room!! Perhaps you shouldn't have sex with your cousin especially in a house full of kids wandering around for them to walk in on an unpleasant surprise!!!

the first mistake was having sex with your cousin. just no. as far as should you tell? I def understand why some people are saying tell. maybe see how things unfold and go from there, but dude, do not be having sex with your cousin or any of your family members
