BOYS: what five things matter most to you about a girl either personality wise and or physically?
1. Cute. Don't have to be sexy, don't have to be hot, don't have to be a model. Be a 7/10 at least though.
2. Honest & Loyal. Without it, there is no relationship, so please be those 2 things, and the relationship will have a good chance of lasting.
3. Values personality over looks. Makes it easier to talk, makes it easier to communicate, and makes it easier to understand each other.
4. Try to fix bad habits. I am not saying erase them, I am not saying you have until this day to fix it, and I am not saying have zero problems. But if you do have certain problems that could cause harm to the relationship, let me help, and lets try together to fix them. But don't give up and put no effort.
5. Respect, but have some fun to. Being respectful doesn't mean you have to be boring. But it does mean you have to care about each others feelings, and about each other's viewpoints. Have some fun too though, don't be so serious and uptight.

Amusingly, Alli and I have the same answers, just in a different order. Although, mine are sort of all equal, not ranked in any particular way.

(I'm gonna add a sixth and it's that they have to be attractive to me in some way. It just comes with the territory.)

What five things matter most to you about a boy either personality wise and or physically?
1. Decent build. They don't need to be a bodybuilder but I look at guys who aren't extremely lanky nor overly chubby. Sue me.
2. Laid back. My last true boyfriend was such a hothead, every little thing would get him upset. It was so frustrating.
3. Good sense of humor, who wouldn't want to date someone who makes you laugh?
4. An honest guy, even if they think it might hurt me. I'm pretty good at keeping my cool.
5. Similar interests/hobbies. We don't need to be cut-copys of each other, but it'd boost our relationship if he liked cars or photography as much as I do. It'd give us something to bond/geek out over; something I didn't have in previous relationships :P


Girls are pretty much the same deal for me as guys, but my ideal girl is slightly more dominant with conversations than most of the gals in my area.

1. She has to be nice, happy, etc. just have a positive character
2. Has to have common sense/not be stupid. I couldn't handle somebody that would just do the most stupid things constantly
3. Head. Hair & facial features that are pretty/beautiful to some extent. Doesn't have to be over the top
4. A nice figure/body is nice. It shows fitness, but too much muscle isn't good, thin or very slightly chubby is good. Neither extreme, not obese nor anorexic
5. Is similar to me, loyal, helpful, knows your flaws but is willing to overlook and help you improve

I'm straight, so clearly this is for a possible girlfriend:

1) Humility. Humility is very important, because bitchy is a real turn off. Having an attitude of care and love for others is very attractive.

2) Can laugh. Someone who is a bit 'haha' funny who I can laugh and joke with. Someone too serious I don't think would work.

3) Loyalty & trust. I'm loyal to a tee and if I couldn't trust and rely on her, then it wouldn't work out.

4) Intelligence. I would like to be with someone with average intelligence. Someone I can have a decent conversation with and be on a similar level with things.

5) Accepting & understanding. They must be able to get who I am but also allow me to understand them as well. But also we must both be able to accept what we find out about each other or it won't work.

5a) Physical attraction does play a part, but only a minor part. That being said, some level of physical attraction has to be there.
