Too fast?

Hey everyone, just wanted to get an outside view on what's going on. So I've known this kid in one of my classes for 3 years, I've tried to hang out with him in the past and he's never shown any interest, but recently wanted to have a sleepover at his house. We talk in class and all and we're going on a school trip together soon but the sleepover thing kind of sideswept me. It might just be me but when i met my best friend we didn't sleep over at each others houses for like a month after hanging out everyday. I don't know if I'm over thinking or ranting, just wondered why he would suddenly invite me over, I've been to his house a few times for school related stuff but not to hang out or anything. Thanks

I think maybe you're overthinking a little, it simply appears to me that he wants to be more than just a school peer and wants to be buddies with you.

don't look into it too much. for now, I would assume he wants to get to know you as a friend. you said yourself you tried reaching out to him. some people just take longer to warm up too but when they do, you get to see a whole new side of their personality

I agree with seth, dont over think it, maybe he just needed to do things in his own time.
