So, I have liked this girl for 5 years, and we went out exactly a year ago. We were really close all the time. But, I broke up with her, because I didn't feel ready for a relationship. We haven't talked since then. I want to go out with her again, so I told my friend, who unfortunately told this girl that I like. But, I've been told by a couple of her friends that if I talk to her again, she would say yes if I asked her out. My question is how do I approach her? What do I say? How do I start up a conversation with her? Please help! Thanks

just get her number/facebook etc just text her hey or whtever the if shes friendly put a x in then if she puts one back add another like xx then just flirt and itll be obvs if she likes you or not and if she does just have the balls to ask her out unlike most lads

Yeah just start chatting again, be nice and friendly. See how she responds,. If it's positively then start flirting and see if she does the same back. See where it goes. I wouldn't advise rushing straight in there and asking her out again, but explain to her that you've grown up and feel ready for a relationship. Good luck bud

I am not going to say much, because everyone already gave a pretty good answer that I would just repeat. One thing to be aware though, rebounds can be difficult and can be awkward.
